This is Luigi's Haunted Mansion

This was a project where the end goal was to create a spooky animation in After Effects, as well as a variety of other programs. We also used programs such as: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (picture seen on left), and Premiere. The theme, as you probably have figured out by now, was Luigi's MansionLuigi's Mansion is a popular Nintendo game that was originally released on the GameCube, and later released on the 3DS for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

After Effects Animation

After Effects is a program predominantly used for animation and implementing additional cool effects to said animations, effects you typically couldn't add in any other adobe software capable of animation.  In After effects, I added the background from Photoshop to my animation, then adding a vignette, spooky title (which fades in and out), a GIF of a bat, and finally King Boo--who is the boss from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. I finished the animation with an unsettling text that reads "beware", on top of a black background.

Adding Sound in Premiere

Premiere is used to add sound and sound effects to projects, in this case, animations. The music I used was a "haunted theme" from a YouTube Audio Library, and I used the "light rain" sound effect. I was then able to attach these sounds to my animation.
