What is Human Cell Atlas?
Cells are the building blocks of life, but there is still so much mystery surrounding them. They contain genes and have information in which they follow and carry out various tasks. Being able to have a cell atlas would make it possible to identify different cell types, map where they are in the body, know their individual functions and understand the biological network they are all a part of.

Each cell would get its own "ID card", and this would form a complicated, interconnected map that would allow us to gain more knowledge on the specifics: how these cells work together to form tissues, which would give us knowledge of how all body systems are supposed to function and are connected.

For centuries, we've known about cells; and for decades, we've discovered the general functions of these specialized cells. They form certain tissues by conjoining, whether it be muscle tissue or tissue of an organ.
